interested in enrolling your child in Yad b’Yad?

It is very important that we spend time together to discover if there is a mutual fit before we extend an offer of enrollment to any family.

We invite all interested families join us for a tour. Click here to see upcoming tour dates.

Families are offered a spot when one becomes available. If there isn’t an immediate open spot, we welcome you to join our wait-list. Parents expecting new infants are encouraged to tour as early as possible (we recommend before baby arrives) and join our waitlist as our infant classroom spaces are in high demand.

DECIDING FACTORS IN OUR PRESCHOOL ENROLLMENT CRITERIA INCLUDE:

  • A GOOD MATCH WITH OUR PROGRAM VALUES

  • FRIENDLY AND INVOLVED FAMILIES WHO VALUE SCHOOL COMMUNITY

  • NEED OF LONG TERM SERVICES-Families who plan to stay with us for years

  • AVAILABLE OPENINGS BY AGE AND SCHEDULE

Our Inclusion Policy: Valuing Diversity, Promoting Equality

All families are welcomed into our program with love and compassion. We believe no child, individual, or family should be excluded on grounds of age, gender, sexuality, family status, ethnic origin, culture, religion, or belief. We ensure that our service is fully inclusive in meeting the needs of all children within the context of Jewish learning. We understand families come from diverse backgrounds both inside and outside of Judaism. Children grow up in diverse family structures that include two parent, one parent and blended extended or intergenerational families. We understand many types of families feel marginalized at times and this can affect the well-being of the children we work with. We welcome all children and families and whenever possible we make appropriate accommodations for all kinds of inclusion in our community building, school curriculum, and synagogue activities.
